    Honest Job Meets Needs

Local businessman Job Henson, owner of Job's Auto Repair, earned the 2002 Business of the Year award, in recognition of his honest and direct approach to running a local Push business.

The head of the Push Chamber of Commerce went on record saying, "When you go to Job you know what you are going to get. He doesn't beat around the bush. He is a little intimidating at first but once you can deal with that you are in for a pleasurable experience. Job represents what is good about Push."

Job's recognition is all the more impressive because he carries the stigma that goes with auto mechanics. Most people are somewhat skeptical about auto shops because they are notorious for ripping people off. Typically, car owners do not know about car repair, and find themselves at the mercy of the mechanic.

At first glance, most of us would lump Job in that category. But his reputation and work ethic have made believers out of Push residents. Listen to what some local residents have to say about Job's Auto.

BRB commented. "Being a man that lives in his truck, I take my mechanics very seriously. When it comes to repairing cars and doing it right, Job is the man. He will never steer you wrong and will be up front about what the cost could be. I have referred and even delivered a number of people to Job's shop that were broken down on the road outside of Push. Job has consistently gotten their car fixed on their way fast and for a reasonable price."

Job's Auto has also modernized some of its equipment lately. They have installed some ultra modern gas pumps that have TV screens in them. These TV screens give updates about goods and services at his shop and gas station and also show network TV from time to time. I believe these are some of the only gas pumps in the state that actually run network TV through them. In fact I have played "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" a couple of times while pumping gas.

So next time you are in need of gas and want some entertainment, head to Job's. And more importantly, the next time you need a repair, Job is your man.
