News October 30, 2003 Construction is underway on a new 24,350 square foot office building in Redland, located at 142 NE 50th Street. Murpha A/E designed this building under a design/build arrangement with McMurphery Electronics of Redland. It will contain three floors of office space over a basement-level parkade. The first floor features a wood and stone entry canopy at the main entrance, which leads to a three-story, wood paneled seating area. The building will have EIFS exterior walls with reveals and decorative moldings, and the base will have texture-painted concrete walls. The roofline will be a single mansard roof with wood brackets. The building form is modulated, as the building is set back along the west property line and NE 50th Street. The project is due to be complete in June 2004. |
