Meet Our Management Team

Dr. Chet Doan is Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to founding the Company, Dr. Doan served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of the Ingalls-Randall Company, a developer of high performance medical research products and modules. Previously, Dr. Doan worked in genetic research for the Larchmont Research Institute, a non-profit research facility. Dr. Doan holds a B.S. and M.D. from Johns Hopkins University and Ph.D. in genetics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Dr. Daniel Thomas is Executive Vice President as well as director of Drug Development and a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Thomas served as a technology consultant to several biomedical companies including Biolight Technologies. Dr. Thomas holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Mr. Louis Lewis is Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company Mr. Lewis served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Pennington Bioindustrial, a manufacturer of surgical supplies. Prior to that time Mr. Lewis served as Chief Financial Officer to various companies including Scranton Timbers. Mr. Lewis holds a B.S. in Liberal Arts from Columbia College in New York and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Chris Mowery is Director of Legal Services. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Mowery served as Director, Intellectual Property--Legal Division of Davis-Cromer Laboratories, a developer of specialized reagents for diagnostic laboratories. Mr. Mowery holds a Master's degree in law from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Meet Our Board Of Directors

Dr. Chet Doan has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1989.

Dr. Daniel Thomas has served as member of the Board of Directors since April 1992.

Dr. Anthony Wolfe has served as member of the Board of Directors since September 1992. Since 1997, Dr. Wolfe has served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Green Meadows Realty, a real estate investment trust.

Mrs. Lauralei Addams has served as member of the Board of Directors since May 1994. Mrs. Addams has been managing general partner of Whitmore Funds, a venture capital firm, since August 1997.

Mr. Dean Langford was appointed to our board of directors on August 1, 2000. In 2000, Mr. Langford co-founded Clean Digital, an audio/video network company. Mr. Langford is also a member of the Board of Directors of DC Metropolitan Hospital.
