so you wanna write

We'd love to see your stuff.  This is a place for grrls to be grrls and what a better way than to have you all be able to speak your mind.  At this time we are only accepting nonfiction pieces, but we hope to take fiction and poetry soon.  We'll let you know when that is a possibility.  If you are interested in taking on a position (nonpaying at this time) of reviewing fiction and poetry, let us know as that is our biggest hang up.  We're too busy trying to learn this web stuff as well as writing the articles that you've come to love us for to try to figure that stuff out right now.

As for what we'd like to see...

• Profiles on grrls making their mark in extreme ways.  This was the focus of the print edition and we'd like to keep it a focus on the web edition.
• A grrls take on about any topic!  With the website we have lots more space to fill so we can now move on to other topics.
• Reviews... we all have opinions!  Let's see yours.  Review books, movies, music, tv, art, games whatever.  Of course it makes sense that the artist or subject matter relates to grrls and/or the issues we face.

Final note, both finished work and query letters are welcome.  If you are sending a query, please include writing samples.
